CSM chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber is made from low density polyethylene or high density polyethylene by chlorination and chlorosulfonation reaction. It is white or yellow elastomer, soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons, insoluble in fats and alcohols, soluble only in ketones and ethers, with excellent ozone resistance, atmospheric aging resistance, chemical resistance, etc. It has good physical and mechanical properties, aging resistance, heat resistance and low temperature resistance, oil resistance, flame resistance, abrasion resistance, and electrical insulation resistance.
